Vocal Mixing
A process of editing vocal recordings with an instrumental. Once the recording is done, the next step is to edit the vocal track. This involves removing any unwanted noise or breaths, adjusting the timing, and correcting pitch. After that you add effects to enhance the vocal tracks and then finish it off with mastering that will tie everything together.
STEP 1
Tuning
Tuning vocal recordings involves using software to correct the pitch of the vocals. The process includes importing the vocal track, analyzing it, placing the notes in their correct place, checking the results, and exporting the tuned track. The goal is to correct the pitch without making the vocals sound unnatural.
STEP 2
Timing
Timing vocal recordings involves adjusting the timing of the vocal track to make it fit with the instrumental. The process includes importing the vocal track, identifying the timing issues, manually adjusting the timing and checking the results. The goal is to ensure that the vocals are in sync with the rest of the music.
Step 3
Mixing
Mixing vocal recordings involves blending the vocal track with other elements of the music production. The process includes adjusting the volume, panning, equalization, compression and adding effects like reverb or delay to create a desired ambiance. The goal is to create a balanced and cohesive sound where the vocals sit well in the mix.
Step 4
Mastering
Mastering vocal recordings with the instrumental involves applying final touches to the audio to make it sound polished and professional. The process includes adjusting the overall level, EQ, and compression of the track. This helps to bring out the best in the vocals and ensure that the track sounds good on all playback systems. The goal is to make the vocals sound cohesive with the rest of the music and ready for distribution.

Additional info
Songs longer than 5 minutes will be charged 50%-100% more.
Starting price won't go lower despite how much work you make me do.
Commercial fee is 100% extra of the initial price.
Deadlines shorter than a week for mix packages will cost extra 50% of the initial price.
Original songs inquires might be priced differently based on the complexity.
Rules
All payments in Stripe/Paypal (USD) only.
Only make payment once I send you an invoice.
Mixing will start once payment is made.
Mixing will take around 1 week for solo/duets and around 2 weeks for the group.
No refunds after I start working on the mix.
The package always includes tuning, timing, mixing, mastering and SFX if necessary.
Guidelines
Please send lines in .wav, mono, 24-bit, 44100 hz/48000 hz.
Lines must be labelled clearly, eg. Kazu Main1.wav | Kazu Harmo1.wav | Kazu Adlib1.wav
I cannot accept overlapped lines. Please separate your lines where necessary.
Try not to record too far away from the mic, make sure you remain approximately the same distance throughout the song.
Do not remove noise before sending in lines, or I will be unable to properly clean your lines.
Make sure your lines have no effects, clipping, distortion, pops and unwanted background noises.
I will not accept lines recorded from laptop/phone mics.
Include both the on vocal and original/best quality available instrumental along with your lines.
Upload your lines in a .zip or .rar file, preferably on Google Drive.
Personal Notes
On vocal provided will be used as a reference for mixing, so I will try to do the same effects/style as the original. Do let me know if you want anything done differently.
I am fully authorized to decline commission because of my own reasons.
If you want to replace my finished work for someone else's mix, please inform me about it. I won’t cause any problems. Let’s just respect each other's work and time!
If needed, I can change the key of the instrumental provided.
Be aware that the quality of the files provided will heavily affect the quality of the final product. Things like excessive background noise, your recording gear and environment, singing very far from the right key or the instrumental being of low quality will affect the final product.
